Born and raised in Berlin-Spandau in an unconventional family, as the son of a Persian father and a German mother, the themes of self-discovery and identity played a central role in my life from an early age.

After graduating from high school, my talent for business stood in contrast to my strong interest in psychology. By applying to both degree programs, I left the decision to the university admissions process.

My later work as a business economist gave me the opportunity, over a period of 15 years, to experience firsthand the realities of management, finance, and sales, along with the many interpersonal conflicts that come with them.

In my private life, I devoted myself to my passion for understanding the human psyche.

Talk therapy in my early twenties soon showed me the limitations of cognitive psychotherapy, leading me to explore alternative approaches to healing and self-discovery more deeply.

After several years of intensive meditation, I also encountered limitations regarding its potential for healing. I began exploring modern body-oriented psychotherapeutic approaches such as trauma healing through Somatic Experiencing®, which opened up dimensions I had previously only sensed existed.

Since 2010, I have been working full-time in private practice in Berlin as a psychological trauma therapist.
